Front: Metzeler Roadtec Z6 120/70 ZR 17
Rear: Metzeler Roadtec Z6 150/70 ZR 17

They're brand new and never used. Was gonna put'em on the kat, but the kat might be replaced by a nice fat check from ICBC due to having been driven on (by a car, doh).

I got these from the states, total cost was $334 USD ($357 CAD).
So $357 cad will get you the pair.

PM for additional details.

20 mins into first ride... u-turned on me in the middle of the block going south on cambie. He was driving south infront of me (I was riding south), he pulled left quickly, then reversed into my path just under 10 meters infront of me.
Then after the bike and my leg ended up somewhere between his front and rear left wheels (as he was perpendicular to both traffic directions), he started driving again, making sure that the bike will need a brand new front end to be ride worthy (and just barely missing my leg).

Shame eh? Now my mind is getting rather crowded with ideas for anti-getting-driven-on armor. If anything, it's an interesting challenge in physics.

That is a crazy occurrence!!! Sorry to hear. I hope you are 100% alright.

What was that driver thinking.... Did the driver give any explanation? Hopefully ICBC will throw the book at the driver.

Cool AND, Nissan, "we" are supposed to keep a safety-space-net
all around us, the easiest is in front! So for future, keep "more"
distance between you and certain monkeys in front, eh? (!!!)

Plus, if you ever take the Advanced Rider Course, avoidance-braking
is stressed and practised: Start practising now!!!

No more accidents, 'ya hear?!

I had the safety distance.. He left my lane. The problem started when he reversed BACK INTO IT.

As for practising right now, I don't even have a bicycle at the moment    :x  Gonna see icbc in a couple of hours and then find out whether they're gonna fix the bike or gimmie the $$$. Eitherway the bike's value is above my total expenses for it, meaning even if I get the cash, I'll be a little bit financially better off than I was when I bought it. Though I really prefer to have it fixed.

The above doesn't contradict your point though, Virgil, and emergency braking practice is certainly on my to-do list as soon as I get the ride fixed.
