I made a sample page out of our links page and was just wondering if people like the new page better http://www.vrombc.com/paul/sample.html or if they prefer leaving things as they are?

I am also interested in hearing any comments (positive or negative) about the sample page, or any suggestions for improvement.

The original page is at http://www.vrombc.com/page4.html for comparison.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure whose image it is that I used. I hope the owner won't mind me using it. I found it amongst the VROM images I backed up before moving to the newer photo gallery software.
Personally, I like the little wheelie icons when one hovers over a link.  Wink

The code on the new page is MUCH cleaner and I expect it will also do better in the search engine listings when searching for "Vancouver + Motorcycles".

I like the new layout, too.  As a tiny suggestion, I would suggest trying to show  the two "sponsor" lists in two columns, so you don't have that large blank space on the right side of the page.  Otherwise, it's great.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Someone else said they didn't like the script font used as the small letters amongst the large letters of VROMBC.com in the header. Anyone in agreement with that?

We also need the approval of Robert before making any permanent changes. What do you say, Robert?

Ha ha! The wheelie icons are for everyone to enjoy and play with. I guess my telephone message in response to the message I found on my answering machine is way too late. I just got back from Whistler and replied to my phone message before checking the computer messages.

The new pages are up and the old is down. I struggled with getting the flash embeded and still have valid code, but with the help of Internet research, I managed to get the job done.
