I'm glad I was able to come. I was supposed to be in Kamloops visiting my mom, but that was postponed until next weekend. It was great to see a lot of familar faces, and do something for Julia. Since my bike was sold, I got Keiko's bike washed instead. The hot-dogs were great too. Thanks for the lube, tire pressure check, and gear lever adustment Bernie.

tweaking anything of Colleen's is worth showing up for Cheesy
hey, she worked all night, and went straight there and slaved all day.
you hang with the nicest people doing thses kinds of things.
and let's not forget............
the boys and girls at Carter Honda were awesome as always. It started with Lori refusing to take cash for the chain lubes (from day 1, one of the nicest people I have ever met in motorcycling), and the guys in the shop were patient all day as we blocked their driveway, and mooched a few tools as well.
I don't believe they're on here, but proper thanks are well deserved.

One more thing the crew at Carter Honda did was sweep the road, after a bunch of gravel was dropped across the street. They didn't have to do it, but they wanted to make sure the area near the shop was safe for riders. Thanks!

  Hey, Robert, since you're into 'marketing,' has further thought
been given to eventually developing a 'Hot Chicks Calendar' as a
fundraiser???

I had given Julia Speedvision material on the topic, wherein some
ladies riding groups stateside did so and it made acceptable dough
for them...

If our troops could enlist minimally oriented photographers in such
wash sessions, then some great pictures could be aggregated and have
further interest value in that they would capture a few years' worth
of scenery, etc. ?!?

For example, ask Barry to do some shooting: He is very good and knows
composition, lighting, posing, etc. since he's a 'dabbler'......

 Anyway, just a thought and would certainly get us more change
in the door than caps only.... lol!

Thanks for posting those pics, virgil

Hey guys and gals, Sheri and I came down to help out
with the washup and had a grand time. It was sure
great to get out and see some of my old riding buddies
and meet some new vromies while we were at it.
When we first got there I grabbed the hose and snuck up
on Le-Anne and sprayed her across the legs she didnt see
me coming and I sure suprised her. I was tempted to give
her a real spraying but I am just too nice sometimes.
Anyways It was great fun as usual and to the guys
out there who didn't drop in, you sure missed
the lovely ladies.

You should of sprayed her (Leigh-Anne) I would of.
Actually I would have got her to wash my bike,
that would have been great to see.
I would have bugged her so much!
Ha! Ha!

Too bad I missed all the fun,
Julia would have been really happy, that so many of her friends
came out for her.

Take care, Marky

And say "Hello" to Sheri for me!

Cheers!

Unfortunately, Denis is not in town (yet). His avatar mysteriously popped up on Marky's post.

Personally I think it would be a great idea to tell the folks at Carter Motorsports how much we appreciate their hospitality.  How about sending e-mails to -

sales@cartermotorsports.com

general@cartermotorsports.com

jamesm@cartermotorsports.com

loris@cartermotorsports.com

rosalieb@cartermotorsports.com
