At times it refuses even that name too...!   I have no idea what is going on at this point.

I just took a look and cannot see anything obvious. You have the ability to create albums. You say this is an itermittent problem?
Robert called up the web host a few days ago and they changed some settings as the whole site was very slow. I wonder if that slowness had something to do with your ability to log in? Is it working OK now?

Sounds like a server problem to me; not a fault of the software. Hopefully it is fixed now that the web host made the changes!

Instead of posting the information all over again, I'll just post a link to my site and you can read all about how to use the new features there: http://comeshowme.com/v-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=216

PS: I already changed all existing albums on the VROM site to have e-card enabled.

Yep.... Blew me away too when I first saw that! Nothing I can do about it though... That's the default date for setting up the software. I have no idea why the admin account has that date. I guess the programmers had a chuckle when they made it that way.  :?

I'm pretty sure they DID have computers back then, but I think your average hand-held calculator could do as much as those computers did back then. They had to be in a temperature and humidity controlled space and took up an entire office floor! What a change, huh?

With this software you can load photos under additional options when replying if that option is turned on.  I have used this function on a few other boards and it seems to work ok.  I think you can limit the file size etc.  Has anyone looked at turning this feature on ??

+1 to an EASY way to post photos.

Frik, maybe it is in the works but easy photo posting was part of the reason for the upgrade (at least I thought so). I think there might be plans to get the old gallery working again. As for now you would still have to post a picture in the gallery and then link it here. patience?

Paul is working on it guys, give it a few days.

The old Gallery is overloaded with 14.000 + pictures. Paul and I talked about maybe someday trying to get Gallery 2 up and running.

I haven't had much time to look into this board as it's new, but I'm sure if there is a way to activate posting pictures direct in posts Paul will find and activate it soon.

Please don't confuse Gallery with this bulletin board. They are 2 entirely different programs. What Robert mentioned above is for inserting pictures, documents, links, etc. into THIS bulletin board software.
To use the Gallery, click the link in the menu bar at the top of the page and use it the same way you did long ago.

Paul, I just accidentally deleted Frik's post. Sorry Frik, still learning that new software.

Can it be that right now only Admin sees that extra link?

Paul, how about we create a test user to see what differences there are, that we can change things. Like for users to be able to edit their posts or post pictures. And could you please allow a bigger picture size, right now it only allows 129 kb

Thanks for all ur help

Cheers

I understand that but I do not get the option to upload a photo as per Roberts instructions when I am replying on the board.  I only get the three options I mentioned in my last post.  I am not talking about the gallery, I am talking about uploading a photo in a reply on the board. Have a look at the screenshot, maybe it can say what I am having trouble explaining.
