This year I bought the 'dirtiest' VFR on the road. With Paul's great work and a coat of paint, it is now the best looking VFR on the road!

Mid season I had the chain break and blew a hole in the engine block. When I saw this I thought for sure the bike was toast. DJPaul took a look at it and to him it looked alot worse than it actually was. Paul ordered all the necessary parts and in less than two weeks had this major job done. The bike ran like nothing had happened. Later on in the season the valves needed sync'ing and again Paul was able to do the job.

These were also major jobs which would have required a second mortgage if I were to go to a dealership. Paul was able to do these jobs at a very reasonable rate. Be sure to give him a call if you want some work done.

Just another quick and shameless plug for Paul ... apart from being one of my best buddies, he's also a bike mechanic par excellence ... I entrust my little 2004 Gixxer 600 to him for any work and mods I need done, and she purrs like a kitten (in fact, she's spending some quality time with him as we speak!)
Although Paul has the dubious honour of owning and riding the dirtiest road bike I have ever seen, he is the best when it comes to working on them. He is thorough, timely, his prices are very reasonable, and he makes sure he explains everything in terms the average non-mechanic can understand. Talk to him if and when you need a mechanic. he's my mechanic of choice. Cool

Paul! Not only did he help me move my little '70 Yamaha 100 in his van the other day, but he convinced me to work on my bike at his shop so that I could work on it with his help and guidance/experience. This means that I'll probably get the project done in a few months as opposed to a few years!!

Anyhow, the entire time he was giving me a hand he was nothing but courteous and funny! We came up with a little maintenance schedule for me so I can work on the bike when I have time. And how much did this all cost you ask? Not much by any means!!

Considering this is my first bike and my first venture into the Vancouver biking community I must say that Paul is certainly making it a very fun/knowledgeable experience thus far!

I'd say if you need ANYTHING done...go to Paul. You'll learn a lot, and probably save a lot too!

Paul has been doing all the technical work on my 2000 VFR that I can't do and it runs perfect.  It's over 120,000 kms and with Paul's help it'll make well over 200,000.
Now that I don't have a warm place to work on my bike I'll get Paul to change my fluids (the bikes, not mine!)

Two thumbs up for Paul!

If so lemme know as I most likely go up skiing at Big White about Mid Dec.

DJ Paul

I'd like to make an appointment for the week of March 17th.

Spring tune up, check over.
May need a rear tire.
Honda Saber 2006

Let me know where you are located and your phone number.

Thanks

Patrick

I had Paul set up my bike with heated grips and an easy on the fly plug in for my vest, now my bike is ready for the cold weather.  I was out riding Sunday in the sunshine and had to turn off my grips periodically as my hands heated up.
He also did an oil change and mounted my rear tire and checked the bike over.  He showed my where I was starting to get a little play in my rear bearings and may have to replace this year.

Thanks Paul for your reasonable price and excellent work!

Can someone let him know I'm trying to contact him?

Thanks

Patrick, I sent an email to DJPaul immediately after your post to let him know to reach you... I assume he'll contact you (if you haven't already reached him).

Cheers,
Charles
